Rhino Walking Safari

Experience a break taking encounter with the most endangered White Rhinoceros in the untamed Zambian bush of Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park. Arnolubi Safaris & Tours offers a fully inclusive walking safaris in Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park and view wild game animals in their natural habitant.

 

- Pickup and transfer.

This experience takes early with your pickup from your respective Lodge and Hotel, and your transfer to the park, which takes approximately 15-20 minutes. Our pickup starts as early as possible to avoid walking in the heat, which can build up quickly.

We advise to wear suitable walking shoes, hats and bush friendly attire. Escort game ranger will be picked to accompany the group and take a short drive to where we will start the walk, once there, you will be provided with a bottle of mineral water for your walking whilst listening to your guide giving a full safety briefing on what you expect to see, how to get the most from the walk and most importantly the Do's and Don'ts whilst walking.

 

- Time For The Walking Safari.

Rhino Walk tour has a special access to these remarkable creatures that are guarded 24/7 from poachers by armed game rangers. The guide and the game ranger will track and find the White Rhinos  and other wildlife as possible and you will learn how to read animal tracks and take memorable photos and videos.

The walk last for approximately 3 hours. However a lot of the time will be spent quietly observing the wild and discussion with the guide. You will be walking at a leisurely pace set by your yourselves and you can stop as frequently as you can stop as frequently as you wish, to ask questions and discuss any aspect that particularly interests you.

 

- Refreshment.

Pickup vehicle will pick you at the end of the walk and transfer you to the picnic spot where you will served with homemade muffins, apples, coffee/tea, soft drinks and mineral water.

Later you will be driving through the park to see other animals you did not see during the walking safari and then dropped to your respective Lodge or Hotel.

 

- Group Size 

Minimum pax per group is 2 pax to 8, 2 groups is allowed to walk at the same time with 2 guides and 2 escort game rangers and the group size is determined to create the minimum of impact on the animals and environment.
